Donating MX Entries

1and1.com mx records

I'm using 1and1.com to host my site and I'm trying to donate a new MX record using a subdomain. I can edit the mx record for it using the 1and1.com interface but it is requiring that I enter 4 unique mx records and project honeypot is only giving me 1. I have donated other mx records and only entered the 1 entry for those. Now it seems I can't enter just 1 mx record for the subdomain. Has anyone else gotten this to work?
