Yeah, as you see above, we've had some scattered reports about problems with some versions of Movable Type creating a template error. We're trying to track down exactly what combination of MT version and installed Perl modules causes the problem.
One thing to be aware of is that the only thing that this affects is your ability to access the user interface of the MT Plugin, it will not affect your ability to install a honey pot. In fact, I checked and your honey pot has been correctly installed. You can still manually add links from your Movable Type template pages to the honey pot. To receive instructions on how to do this you can visit:
http://www.projecthoneypot.org/linking_instructions.php?hpid=40656
The only thing the MT Plugin does is adds these links for you automatically, it is not required in any way in order to track and catch harvesters.
Moreover, you may still (depending on the exact problem) be able to use the automatic linking from the Plugin even if you cannot get to the user interface. Assuming it works, there are three ways to use the plugin to add links to your templates. The first, and easiest to check if it works, is to create a new blog entry. Check if the Project Honey Pot text filter is included under the Text Formatting pulldown. Assuming it is there, if you select that Text Filter then an invisible link will automatically and invisibly be inserted in the text you post.
Two other ways. In any of your Movable Type templates you can insert the following tag:
<$MTHoneyPotLink$>
Wherever that tag is inserted a an invisible link will be inserted from your blog page to the honey pot page. Additionally, to any existing Movable Type tag on one of your templates you can add honeypotlink="default" and a invisible link will be added to the text that is wrapped by the tag. For example:
<$MTEntryBody honeypotlink="default"$>
I apologize for the problems. We're trying to track down the issue. In the meantime, let me know if any of these other techniques work in order to get your honey pot linked from your blog so spiders can find it.
Welcome to the Project!
