Why all the different reference number for referrals?

on this web page the generated email to refer a "Friend" includes a link to http://www.projecthoneypot.org?rf=12345

Along with my honey pot the suggested HP button has a link to http://www.projecthoneypot.org?rf=98765

Just wonder why the double entries, making the database bigger?

That's strange. Typically there's one reference number associated with each account so we can see who is driving a lot of new members to Project Honey Pot and credit their karma score as a result. My guess is that the 12345 reference number is a bug in the refer-a-friend email code. We'll look into it.
