Definition of an item on my dashboard
Author: B.Schurmann   (2 Mar 08 3:02pm)
Definitely a newbie question:

What exactly does "Spam traps issued on your sites" represent on my dashboard? I recently setup a honeypot and this entry is '5'.

For that matter, is there a place on the site that defines what all the stats actually mean on the dashboard? I looked and could not find a glossary or other definition. Some stats are self-explanatory some aren't.

Here are my stats with my guesses at what they mean.

# Harvester visits to your site(s): 0
A crawler visits my site and hits my honeypot. Some time later the email that was issued to this crawler gets used and this crawler becomes a harvester.

# Recent visits (this week): 0
Same as above but all happened within this week.

# Spam traps issued on your sites: 38
A crawler visits my site and hits my honeypot.

# Spam received at your addresses: 0
Total number of emails that have been sent to email addresses harvested from my honeypots.

# Received this week: 0
Same as above but for this week only.

# Comment spam posts to your site(s): 0
Crawlers that have posted comments to my honeypots.

# Traffic from your QuickLinks: 0 visits
???
