Is there something else I need to do to keep spammers from spamming my Perl forums? (I successfully installed my Project Honeypot script...)

I looked at the written implementations for http:BL but I don't know what to do with them... I'm not a programmer so I won't be able to hack my Perl scripts...

Can someone tell me what I need to do to to keep suspicious and malicious web robots off my site?
