Using .htaccess to redirect to QuickLinks

I am using .htaccess to redirect some call to my site to QuickLinks. Calls like *.aspx or *.html. I do not have any .aspx and neither .html extensions. I use a rule in the .htaccess like this:
RedirectMatch (.*)\.aspx$ MyQuickLink.
That way i stop the script used to test my site and i think help the project honey pot with this attacker information. I am not sure if what i did is correct or if is helping the project.
Please, someone could enlighten me.
