Can't activate the script on Unix server
Author: M.Willion   (3 Feb 05 4:09pm)
As far as I know my server is freebsd 4.7 + Apache/1.3.27 + perl, version 5.005_03.
I have reinstalled the script in my cgi-bin directory several times, changed permissions (tried all possible options), renamed the extentions to ".pl" and ".cgi" (the original was ".cfm" - rather strange), and nothing seems to work. I get a 500 Internal Server Error.
I have tried to generate another script, but was refused.
I don't know what else I can do... Please help!

There was a bug last night introduced when we turned on ColdFusion support. When you selected a Perl honey pot it gave you a CF version instead. That sounds like what you ran into (hence the .cfm extension).

Sorry about that.

The bug has been fixed and you can login to your account, go to the Manage Honey Pots page, click on the domain where you were trying to install a honey pot, click on the Download New Script link in the left-hand menu, and you should actually get a Perl version of the script this time.

Again, sorry for the trouble and welcome to the Project!

Thank you for reply.
I'm done. No more problems.
