Suggestion for spam-fighting AI or bot

Suggestion: create a spam-replying bot or AI. A user gives it a spam email, and the AI replies to the email, engaging the spammer in a long email conversation, wasting the spammer's time.

Does anything like this exist already ? Would the Project be interested in creating it ? Would it be best to create it as functionality in user's email client, so spammers are getting traffic from client computers instead of one central server AI ?
