Got my honeypots up! Hi all!

Congratulations! Hopefully the install wasn't too painful. Please let us know if there was any step in the process that was confusing or difficult and we'll do what we can to iron out the kinks.

On average it takes about 1 or 2 weeks for newly installed honey pots to see their first harvester traffic. Check back on the site in a bit and you can see a breakdown of exactly how many harvesters have visited your site, how many email spamtrap email addresses your honey pot has issued, and a list of the specific IPs of the harvesters that are stealing your addresses.

Thanks again for your participation, and welcome to the Project!

Hi people, I also joined a few days ago and found the installation process pretty painless. Just one comment, before I signed up I wasn't sure what I was in for. A short demo of what the user needs to do on their site might be useful to potential new users.

That's somewhat ironic... when we first proposed this idea, we weren't sure what we were in for either! "Tracking harvesters, that shouldn't be too tough to throw together." Several million lines of code later we occasionally wish someone would have given us a demo ahead of time too. :-)

All kidding aside, that's a great idea. Not sure how we'll do it, but at least a bit more clarity in the FAQ in terms of what's involved.

Thanks for the feedback. While the installation process is always inherently going to be somewhat complicated, we're always looking for ways to make it a bit easier, more understandable, and accessable to a greater number of websites. Keep the suggestions coming!
