I have participated in Project HoneyPot for years, but only by donating MX records and hiding scripts here and there on various websites I control to catch spammers.
Now, mainly as a hobby, I have created a site on my website running Apache with WordPress.
My goal is to bait as many spammers as possible using this particular site. I am populating it with nonsensical posts and configuring WP to make it easy for content spammers to post to it.
No legitimate users will ever post to the site or use the domain for email.
When I do research on "ProjectHoneyPot and WordPress" I seem to be able to find plugins designed for legit site operators to filter content spammers. My goal is to CATCH and REPORT conent spammers.
If you can provide me any advice on doing this, I would appreciate it.
