We just added a couple new features:
- IP Lookup
This has been one of the most-requested features. Allows you to enter an IP address and see if Project Honey Pot has any information about it. To try it out visit:
http://www.projecthoneypot.org/search_ip.php
If you're logged in to an account you don't have to enter a CAPTCHA for each lookup (up to a certain amount).
- Harvest-to-First-Spam Time
We did a complete investigation of how our stats are calculated. We updated the equations to make sure the data is as accurate as possible. Before it was a rough approximation. Now it's accurate to the second. In addition, we now report the time from harvest to first spam for each harvester in the system, as well as the standard deviation. We hope this will help to foster a better understanding of how spammers work.
