 what can be done
Author: R.Bard   (16 Mar 05 8:22pm)
I have recently stumbled upon a list of email accounts 3,591 last time I looked, of email addresses that have been removed from an autoresponder.

This list is published on a static page for all bots to scrape any time.

At no time have I ever agreed to a privacy policy that would then allow these jokers to do this to 2 of my email accounts.

The 2 email accounts in question for me (for some reason on there twice) have not even been used in over 2 years.

I had always wondered why I had such problems with these two accounts, and I do believe it is the root cause of why I had to delete a few alias accounts recently because 6800 messages a day is just too much to deal with. (glad that's over - bandwith was choking my switch)

The page is located here
http://webtastic.freehomepage.com/custom2.html

I have not found a direct link to the page from home, but these are my accounts and I want them off the page in case there is one.

Any thoughts on this?

I have written to their sales department and also the Registrant but have not recieved a reply.....

Rick

In case anyone is wondering, the offending page has been taken down.
