Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of ways to directly participate in Project Honey Pot if you're using email but don't run a website or own a domain. To protect your inbox from spam, there are a number of other free and commerical services you can use in order to protect yourself from spam. A list of a few can be found at the following URL:

Two things you may be able to help with: 1) you can encourage any website you frequent, where your email address is posted, or that are run by friends or colleagues of yours to participate, and 2) you can keep up the pressure on local law enforcement and legislators by letting them know spam is a major concern of yours and therefore it shoudl be one of their concerns too.
Over time the efforts of the participants in Project Honey Pot may help to track down spammers and ensure your inbox remains uncluttered by junk. Until then, don't hesitate to pass our site along to anyone you think may be interested.
