I trap spambots in a very unlikely way - unlikely by the spammer. All spammers (email, comments, of course) are looking for some forum (even this?), guestbook or blog.
So when I created a new honeypot I called the script guestbook, or forum or blog, or even wp-comments-post to trap them nicely. My point here is: don't use that pseudo-random words, they may have cracked the algorhythm. Be more creative like I am.
I hope these trick more spammers into our traps. :)
