 Configuring ISC Bind
Author: T.Toews   (20 Jan 13 2:42pm)
I run a very simple ISC Bind DNS server on my own server. For others who are running ISC Bind the following is what appears to work. That is I'm not getting any error messages in the DNS log. <smile> I await the testing by the Honey Pot server.

mx1.easymx01.com MX 20 mail2 ; Honey Pot
mail2 A 69.165.224.50 ; Honey Pot

Well, that's wrong. Not sure what the problem is so I'll have to poke about a bit and think on it.

"MAIL2.TONYTOEWS.COM
In order for this donation to be effective, you must point all the name servers controlling mail2.tonytoews.com to our mail servers at mx1.easymx01.com. The specific problem we have identified with your DNS modifications for this donation is that no MX record could be found for your donated MX Entry when we performed an MX query check. It could be that we simply experienced a DNS error when we tested. However, you should check to ensure that the MX (tonytoews.com) exists and can be dug: dig mail2.tonytoews.com MX Windows users can perform a nslookup: nslookup set querytype=MX mail2.tonytoews.com "
