 Get delisted
Author: P.Meutzner   (9 Nov 12 9:38am)
Hello people of project honey pot,

My dedicated is at the moment listed.
The virus/hack is removed and the user on the server is suspended.

Now I want to remove my servers IP adress from this list, but I don't know how to access with my server IP this website (to remove it). Must this be going through SSH of something else?

Sincerely yours,

Patrick

L.Jogunosinmi,
I hate being redundant so have not posted the following for a some time sense it is more than obvious that no one reads the thread/topic to witch they post. However, IF you would read the second and third post at the top of this thread you will see information on how to get you IP delisted.

I would suggest that before you do request delisting you first correct the issue that got your IP listed in the first place.

When you first sign in, near the top left of your screen home -> dashboard, you will see a box to enter an IP for look up. If you enter 162.144.49.104 you will see the following examples of the spam that got that IP listed:

From: "Bank of America" <bankofamerica@secureserver.com>
Subject: Confirm your account information
From: "Bank Of America" <bankofamerica@secureserver.com>
Subject: Confirm your account information
From: "American Express" <Americanexpress@secureserver.c
Subject: Unauthorized activity on your online account
From: "Wells Fargo Online" <Wellsfargo@secureserver.com>
Subject: Unauthorized activity on your online account
From: "Wells Fargo Online" <wellsfargo@memberservice.com
Subject: Unauthorized activity on your online account
From: "Wells Fargo Online" <Wellsfargo@securitysystem.co
Subject: Unauthorized activity on your online account
From: "American Express" <Americanexpress@customercare.c
Subject: Unauthorized activity on your online account
From: "Wells Fargo" <wellsfargo@memberservice.com>
Subject: Recent suspicious activity on your online account

Now I do not know what kind of "media and PR Company' sends that kind of email, but it sure looks like spam to me, just another user of Project Honey Pot.

Hi

Please remove our ip 196.14.104.132:

This IP address is only used for office & internal mail. We had a computer on our network that had a virus on it and it was sending thousands of emails using our SMTP server.

We have changed the password of the SMTP servers and removed the virus from the computer.

If we check our mail server logs the server is no longer being used as a relay

Thanks for your assistance

Not to be redundant, but I suggest you read the 2nd and 3rd post in this thread and follow the advice given. This is a user-to-user forum and there is no assurance that anyone with the ability to meet your request will read your post. However, the suggested actions will make contact with those who can.

Please remove the our mail server ip adres (37.9.202.240) from your blacklist database

 Re: Get delisted
Author: H.User1325   (5 Jan 17 8:23am)
As just a user of this service, why should 37.9.202.240 be removed?
Looks to me like someone has bought/copied a list of email addresses from a Harvesters and using this IP address has had the misfortune of sending email to three (3) email addresses gathered from a honey pot.

Hello,
We provide subscription based email service for our clients. Some of them may send some unsolicited messages but we have special system that blocks user with high level of hard bounces. We also block user if we receive certain percent of complaints on his campaigns. This percent rate is based on the campaign's size. And before we give user access to our service it's necessary to proceed mailing list moderation. We block lists gathered in Internet, bought or stolen.
Please delist our IP 5.104.224.148
Thank you!

K.Lysenkova, As just one user to another: I don't think double/daily posting will result is more positive results.

IMHO sounds like you should be listed
1. "Some of them (and therefor you) may send some unsolicited messages" Sounds like spam to me.
2."We also block user if we receive certain percent of complaints on his campaigns." In other words, there is a percentage of complaints from people that did not double-opt-in that is acceptable. OR There is a level of spam you do accept.
3. "We block lists gathered in Internet, bought or stolen." If you don't require your clients to only use double-opt-in list, you are going to get complaints of spam, possibility of being listed here or other block list, and the possibility of ALL your clients using the same IPs being blocked.
I'm not sure I am sorry that your business model is not working for you.

If you really feel you have a case for delisting, I would suggest going to "About" -> "Contact Us" and send your case directly to the powers that be.

Just one target of spam to a potential source.

We have identified the culprit which caused the spamming issue. Action has been taken to mitigate the risk of spam from our network.

Please request delisting of IP 103.245.89.5 since it is an essential IP for Malaysian Government Email system to communicate with its citizens and other parties. We would request your kind feedback to update your blacklisting list and remove our IP from your blacklist.

For your information, we provide e-mail provision service for Malaysian Government which consists of more than hundreds of agencies and thousands of users. IP Address 103.245.89.5 is a focal point of communication between the Government and its citizens. Therefore, we would request your team to de-list the blacklisted IP Address as soon as possible.

Hi Support,

Please remove my IP address as soon as possible. because my all mail is going in the spam folder.
My IP address is 198.57.209.120

 Re: Get delisted
Author: H.User1325   (10 Dec 18 3:44pm)
As a Project Honey Pot user/contributor, "Why do you think your IP (198.57.209.120) should be removed?"
Looking at the examples, I would agree that your email should be 'going in the spam folder.'

What have you done to prevent more spam in the future???

I'm not support, just a user.

Dear Team,

One of our user accounts got compromised and we have increased the level of
precaution for filtering such spams in future.

Also, there are a lot of non-spamming users who are using the IP
[139.162.146.124] and facing problem as the relay is listed .

We have taken strong security measures to avoid such account compromises.

Yukthi Systems
