pmoz.info ODP link checker bot information The pmoz.info ODP link checker slowly and systematically traverses the dmoz.org directory, checking each link it finds. It is not a crawler - for each directory entry, only the listed page is fetched (redirects are followed). Because its visit is so limited, the bot does not check robots.txt. Visits from this process generally come from IPs 74.208.25.118 or 216.15.74.85. The bot identifies itself through the useragent string: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; pmoz.info ODP link checker; +http://pmoz.info/doc/botinfo.htm) --------------------------- IP 74.208.16.9 is not only a Google-bot-faker, but also a ODP link check faker.
