 how to choose scripting language
Author: B.Brynn   (23 Jul 13 6:53am)
Hi Friends,
I'm a first time website owner, but I despise spam, so I want to set up a honey pot. I've registered, and started on this page: http://www.projecthoneypot.org/manage_honey_pots.php. But I have no idea which scripting language to choose, or even why it matters.

Can someone give me a simple explanation, so I can continue with the process?

Thank you very much :-)

You should choose a scripting language that is supported by your host. For example not all host support Cold Fusion. If you are not sure check with your host's tech support.

Other than that, it doesn't matter. You should also check to see if your host has any restrictions on your use of scripts and where you can upload them.

If there are restrictions on your use of scripts, QuickLinks were designed for that situation. Even if you can load your own Honey Pot, get a QuickLink to add to you webpages also.

Welcome to the fight.
